TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D driver with four models focusing on maximum speed and compatibility.
TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers bringing fresh momentum and speed. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four different models cover various playing and swing types.
New Clubfaces and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable to date. They feature newly developed carbon clubfaces that generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium, while also being more robust and durable. Improved roll radii on the clubface help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of high or low strike location.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed with Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area. This creates a widened high-performance zone that stabilizes ball speed across typical impact zones. Additionally, a corrective face curvature and enhanced aerodynamics with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and subtle structures promote clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Customized Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is high individualization. All models use a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Specially developed REAX shafts cater to three distinct swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, Active) and come in various flex and weight classes. This enables targeted customization suitable for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D
The base model employs a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade bias. Heavier weights placed forward enhance speed, while rear placement promotes stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS prioritizes maximum speed and very low spin. Aerodynamically optimized head design via computational fluid dynamics supports smooth air flow and clean separation at the club’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise tuning of spin and trajectory.
Qi4D Max
Focusing on forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Qi4D Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and add adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center of gravity positioning for speed or stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
Sharing Max technology, the Qi4D Max Lite features an ultra-light setup, including the lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series, targeting golfers seeking to increase swing speed specifically.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be in stores from January 29.
