TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver series with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility.

TaylorMade introduces fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability options. Four distinct models cater to various swing and playing styles.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Enhancements

The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that deliver greater ball speed compared to titanium while offering enhanced durability and longevity. Improved roll radii across the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of whether the ball is struck higher or lower on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower section, creating an expanded high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed in typical impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Simultaneously, the head aerodynamics have been optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet integrated structures that promote clean airflow throughout the swing.

Qi4D Drivers: Individual Customization via Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments of loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially designed REAX shafts are available, optimized for three distinct swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and offered in various flex and weight classes, enabling tailored shaft options for different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Their positioning allows players to influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights placed forward promote higher ball speed, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS aims for maximum speed and especially low spin. Aerodynamic optimization through numerical flow simulations ensures smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max focuses on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Using aluminum reduces weight and provides additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center-of-gravity shifts between more ball speed or increased stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite uses Max model technologies but features a consistently lightweight design. Head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers aiming to boost their clubhead speed.

The Qi4D Drivers will be available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be in stores from January 29, 2026.
