Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods with High-Tech Faces for Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series – drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for enhanced speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new family of woods. The Mizuno JPX ONE series includes a new driver as well as various fairway woods and hybrids, designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel according to the manufacturer.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

At the heart of the new woods is the JPX ONE Driver – the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. In collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno developed a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters the face’s elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than conventional titanium or composite constructions, generating higher ball speeds over a larger sweet spot.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the so-called CORAREA (High-Speed Rebound Zone) expands by more than 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno introduced two driver models: the regular JPX ONE with a larger clubhead for stability and straighter ball flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a compact, tour-tested shape and a neutral to fade bias. Both feature adjustable weight systems and a Quick-Switch hosel to precisely tailor launch and spin to individual needs.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology for Maximum Energy Transfer

New fairway woods within the JPX ONE series feature a redesigned CORTECH chamber, where the internal space between the sole and chamber wall varies to maximize energy transfer across the entire face without losing efficiency in the center. Each clubhead has a surrounding composite crown that saves crucial grams at the top, lowering the center of gravity for higher launch and reduced spin.

The MAS1C steel face with varying wall thickness ensures maximum energy efficiency at impact, while the newly developed sole optimizes interaction with the ground for cleaner contact and more consistent ball speeds from various lies. With lofts ranging from 15° to 24°, the JPX ONE fairway woods offer an ideal combination of speed, forgiveness, and playability for golfers seeking effortless distance with the signature Mizuno feel.
