TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Versatility and Speed

TaylorMade presents the new Qi4D driver series with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver offers detailed innovations for enhanced velocity.

TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers bringing new momentum and speed. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models boast high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four distinct models cater to various playing and swing styles.

New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers yet. Featuring newly developed carbon faces that generate greater ball speed compared to titanium while being more robust and durable. Improved roll radii on the face reduce spin rate deviations regardless of whether the ball strikes higher or lower on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower section, expanding the high-performance area to stabilize ball speed in typical impact zones. Additionally, a corrective face curvature complements this. Aerodynamics were precisely optimized with refined head shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet structures promoting clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization through Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high degree of customization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts are used, tailored to three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight options, enabling precise fitting to different player types beyond standard shafts.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model features a four-weight system with adjustable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward increase ball speed, while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS targets maximum speed and particularly low spin. Aerodynamic head shape optimized through computational fluid dynamics ensures smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory control.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max emphasizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Utilizing aluminum reduces weight and allows extra adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between increased speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

Based on the Max model’s technology but designed with an ultra-light weight philosophy. The head, shaft, and grip represent the lightest in the series, aimed at golfers seeking to boost their clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered starting January 8, 2026, at €699 and will be available in stores from January 29 onwards.
