Mizuno JPX ONE: New Woods with High-Tech Faces for Speed and Control

Mizuno introduces the JPX ONE series — drivers, fairway woods, and hybrids with high-tech faces for more speed, control, and classic Mizuno feel.

Founded in 1906, the Japanese golf manufacturer Mizuno presents its new range of woods: the Mizuno JPX ONE series, featuring a new driver, various fairway woods, and hybrids designed to redefine ball speed, forgiveness, and feel.

Mizuno JPX ONE: Driver with NANOALLOY Technology

The centerpiece is the JPX ONE driver — the world’s first driver featuring NANOALLOY face technology. Developed in collaboration with Japanese chemical and materials company Toray, Mizuno created a microscopic polymer dispersion that dynamically alters face elasticity at impact. This material stores and releases more energy than traditional titanium or composite constructions, enhancing ball speed across a larger hitting area.

Combined with the newly developed CORTECH face, which is up to 0.35 mm thinner than previous generations, the CORAREA (high-speed rebound zone) increases by over 15% compared to the ST-MAX series. Mizuno offers two driver models: the regular JPX ONE with a slightly larger clubhead for stability and straighter flight, and the JPX ONE SELECT with a more compact, tour-proven shape and neutral to fade-biased weighting. Both models include adjustable weight systems and Quick-Switch hosels for precise launch and spin customization.

Fairway Woods: CORTECH Technology Maximizes Energy Transfer

The JPX ONE fairway woods feature a newly designed CORTECH chamber with varied spacing between sole and chamber walls. This design flexes the face towards toe and heel to maximize energy transfer across the entire face without sacrificing center efficiency.

Each clubhead has a composite crown to save weight high on the clubhead and lower the center of gravity, yielding higher launch and reduced spin. A MAS1C steel face with variable thickness ensures efficient energy exchange at impact, while the redesigned sole improves turf interaction for cleaner strikes and consistent ball speeds from various lies. Available lofts range from 15° to 24°, offering the ideal blend of speed, forgiveness, and playable ball flight for golfers seeking effortless distance with Mizuno’s trademark feel.

JPX ONE Hybrids: Compact Design with Fairway Wood Technology

The hybrids in the JPX ONE series adopt the fairway wood design philosophy into a compact, iron-like shape. Their waffle crown structure enhances face stability and allows engineers to position weight deeper and further back in the clubhead, optimizing launch and spin control.

Like the fairway woods, hybrids have MAS1C faces combined with CORTECH chambers and the new sole design. Available lofts of 19°, 22°, 25°, and 28° create a seamless transition from long irons to fairway woods.
