Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology for enhanced stability.
Fujikura launches a new model with the VENTUS TR Blue shaft, building on a well-known foundation. The new version maintains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor, but adds an interior update: VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura states brings more stability and consistency to play.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
As with the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, the company’s 3D motion capture technology that analyzes shaft movements in detail. The data gained directly informed the new model’s design, which Fujikura optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel with New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed especially for players seeking a consistent ball flight with active swing behavior. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is aimed at providing greater shaft stability under high stress. Fujikura maintains the balance between feel and control. The new TR Blue is positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black shafts. Product manager TJ Spidle noted internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most testers. This model fills a gap in the portfolio and targets golfers desiring a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Diverse Player Types
The shaft is available in weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available through authorized dealers and select custom-fit programs.
