TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D driver with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility for various playing styles.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with its Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, these new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four distinct models cater to different playing and swing types.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate greater ball speed compared to titanium while offering increased durability and longevity. Enhanced roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of strike height on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower region, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed across common impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Additionally, the head aerodynamics have been precisely optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures to promote clean airflow during the entire swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts are also introduced, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight categories. This enables standard shafts to be tailored precisely to different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Different Focuses

Qi4D

The base model employs a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Positioning these weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights at the front boost ball speed while rear placement enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS targets maximum speed and ultra-low spin. Aerodynamic head shape was optimized through computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) provide precise spin and trajectory adjustments.

Qi4D Max

Focus of the Qi4D Max is forgiveness without speed sacrifice. The use of aluminum reduces weight and enables additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center-of-gravity adjustments to favor either increased ball speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite incorporates the Max’s technology but emphasizes a notably lightweight design. Head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aimed at golfers seeking to boost their clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered starting January 8, 2026, for €699 and will be available in stores from January 29.
