TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver line with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility for different swing types. The new driver emphasizes enhanced speed in detail.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum speed, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four distinct models cover various playing and swing styles.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date, featuring newly developed carbon faces that provide greater ball speed compared to titanium, while also being more durable and long-lasting. Improved face roll radii help reduce deviations in spin rate, regardless of where the ball strikes the face.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, engineered using finite element analysis (FEA), increases the flexibility of the lower face area, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed across typical impact zones. This is complemented by corrective face curvature. Additionally, the driver heads’ aerodynamics have been maximized with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet integrated structures to promote clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization Through Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments in loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are offered, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes, enabling precise tuning of the stock shafts for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9g x 2 / 4g x 2). Positioning the weights affects ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights positioned forward promote higher ball speeds, while rear placement increases stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS targets maximum speed and particularly low spin. Its head shape is aerodynamically optimized via numerical flow simulations to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubtail. Two TAS weights (15g and 4g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max
The Qi4D Max emphasizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Using aluminum reduces weight and offers additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13g and 4g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between more ball speed or enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Qi4D Max Lite builds on the Max model technology but focuses on an ultra-lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aimed at golfers seeking to increase clubhead speed intentionally.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, priced at €699
