Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation Shaft with VeloCore+ Technology

Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.

Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model built on a familiar foundation. This new version retains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+ technology aims to deliver greater stability and consistency according to Fujikura.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

As with the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology from Fujikura that enables detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly informed the design of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel, New Details

The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination of VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon aims to provide increased shaft stability under high load without compromising the balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, the TR Blue fills a portfolio gap. Product manager TJ Spidle reports that internal tests showed increased clubhead speed in most players, making the shaft suitable for those who want a stable but not overly stiff profile.

Options for Different Player Types

The shaft is offered in various weights from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Available from January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue can be purchased through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
