TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D driver series with four models focused on maximum speed and versatility. The new driver brings advanced aerodynamics and customization.

TaylorMade launches the Qi4D drivers to deliver new momentum and speed. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustment options. Four distinct models cover various playing and swing types.

Innovative Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces, which generate more efficient ball speed compared to titanium, while also offering greater durability and longevity. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin variance regardless of where the ball strikes, whether higher or lower on the face.

A refined Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed with finite element analyses (FEA), enhances face flexibility in the lower area, expanding the high-performance zone and stabilizing ball speed in typical impact regions. This is complemented by corrective face curvature. Aerodynamics have been specifically optimized through finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and subtly integrated structures that support a clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems

A key feature of the Qi4D series is a high level of personalization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts tailored to three distinct swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, Active) are available in various flexes and weights. This enables precise matching of standard shafts to diverse player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Different Focuses

Qi4D

The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9g x 2 / 4g x 2). Depending on positioning, ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade bias can be influenced. Heavier weights in the front promote higher ball speed, while rear positioning enhances stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS is engineered for maximum speed and particularly low spin. Aerodynamic optimization using computational flow simulations ensures a smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15g and 4g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. The use of aluminum reduces weight and offers additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13g and 4g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between increased ball speed or enhanced stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite incorporates Max model technologies but emphasizes lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, catering to golfers aiming to boost their clubhead speed.

The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699
