TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D driver series with four models designed for maximum speed and compatibility.

TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers, focusing on high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options, covering various player and swing types across four models.

New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date, featuring newly developed carbon faces that provide more efficient ball speed compared to titanium while being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the face reduce spin rate deviations regardless of strike height.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), enhances face flexibility in the lower section, expanding the high-performance area to stabilize ball speed in typical strike zones. A corrective face curvature and optimized head aerodynamics with refined shapes and smooth transitions support clean airflow throughout the swing.

Individual Adjustment Through Shafts and Settings

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve, allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Specially developed REAX shafts complement the lineup, designed for three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, Active) and available in various flex and weight classes, enabling tailored fitting to different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D: The base model uses a four-weight TAS system (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2) for customizable ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and shot tendencies from draw to fade. Forward heavier weights boost speed; rear weights enhance stability.

Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and low spin, with an aerodynamically optimized head shape created through numerical flow simulations. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise tuning of spin and trajectory.

Qi4D Max: Focused on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum use reduces weight and provides additional settings. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) offer flexible center-of-gravity adjustments between velocity and stability.

Qi4D Max Lite: Utilizes Max model technologies in a lightweight design with the lightest head, shaft, and grip to help golfers increase clubhead speed intentionally.

The Qi4D drivers will be available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will hit stores on January 29.
