TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D Driver with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver delivers enhanced speed details.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D Drivers. Designed for maximum speed, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four distinct models cater to different playing and swing styles.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that provide more efficient ball speed compared to titanium, while also being more robust and durable. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of strike height.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility on the lower part of the face to broaden the high-performance area stabilizing ball speed in typical impact zones. A corrective face curvature complements this, while aerodynamics have been optimized with smooth shapes, soft transitions, and subtle structures that support clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization through Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is a high degree of customization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve that allows adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, special REAX shafts developed for three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) are available in various flexes and weights, enabling precise shaft fitting for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D: The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Weight positioning can influence ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights up front promote faster ball speeds, while rear positioning enhances stability.
Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and very low spin, featuring an aerodynamically optimized head shape based on computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and a clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise spin and trajectory tuning.
Qi4D Max: Prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers extra adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center of gravity shifts to emphasize ball speed or stability.
Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technologies but is engineered for lightness with the lightest head, shaft, and grip of the series, targeting golfers aiming to increase clubhead speed strategically.
The Qi4D Drivers are available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at €699 and will be in retail stores from January 29.
