Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation Shaft with VeloCore+

With the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft and fresh VeloCore+ technology, Fujikura kicks off 2026 with innovation.

Fujikura launches the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft, building on a well-known foundation. This updated version retains the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor while introducing an internal update called VeloCore+, designed to bring greater stability and consistency.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new model was developed using the enso® system, Fujikura’s 3D motion capture technology that allows detailed analysis of the shaft’s movements. The data collected directly informed the design of the new model, which Fujikura claims enhances energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel, New Details

The VENTUS TR Blue is targeted towards players seeking a consistent ball flight during active swings. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is aimed at delivering increased stability throughout the shaft, particularly under high load, while maintaining a balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, product manager TJ Spidle states that internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most testers, filling a portfolio gap for those who want a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.

Options for Different Player Types

The shaft will be available in several weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be purchasable through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
