TaylorMade launches the Qi4D Driver with four models focusing on maximum speed and adaptability for various swing types. The new driver delivers enhanced speed in detail.
TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers, designed for maximum speed, with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four different models cater to diverse player and swing types.
New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date, featuring newly developed carbon faces that provide more efficient ball speed compared to titanium, while also being more durable and robust. Enhanced rolling radii on the face reduce spin rate deviations, regardless of strike height.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using finite element analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower section, expanding the high-performance zone and stabilizing ball speed across typical impact areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature and optimized head aerodynamics with refined shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet structures to support clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Customization with Shafts and Adjustability
A key feature of the Qi4D series is a high degree of customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve that enables adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are available, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) in various flex and weight classes, allowing tailored shaft options for different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D: The base model features a four-weight TAS system (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Weight positioning influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw/fade tendencies. Heavier front weights promote higher ball speed; rear positioning enhances stability.
Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and low spin, the LS model uses CFD-optimized head shapes to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s trailing edge. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max: Focuses on forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum components reduce weight and add adjustability. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between speed and stability.
Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technologies but with a lightweight design, featuring the lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series, ideal for golfers aiming to increase clubhead speed.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at €699 and will be available in stores from January 29.
