Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in their long game.
Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models target golfers looking for extra support and comfort in their long game, whether seeking more distance, control, or better feel. The new variants complete the ZXi series and ease the entry into this range by combining a soft feel with high forgiveness.
Srixon: New Material, New Feel
At the core of this development is a new material: i-ALLOY, which Srixon claims is about 10% softer than conventional 431 stainless steel, providing reduced vibrations and a softer impact feel. Paired with the updated MainFrame face technology, this results in a smoother feel and higher ball speed. The repositioned sweet spot aligns with where most players need it most.
Visually, the irons retain their identity with a cavity-back design and sleek topline, but feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset to enhance confidence at address. The HL variant is tailored for players with slower swing speeds, emphasizing higher launch angles to assist ball flight.
Fitting and Selection – Beyond Standard
With seven models in the ZXi family, Srixon now offers irons suitable for nearly every swing profile. Consistent with previous models, the ZXiR irons emphasize versatility, featuring shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and various combinations to optimize fitting. These irons are available for pre-order from December 4, 2025, within fittings, and hit the market officially on February 6, 2026. The six-iron set is priced at €1,049 in both steel and graphite versions.
