Srixon ZXiR: New Irons Offering More Support for Long Game

Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support in the long game.

Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement irons segment with the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons. These models target golfers looking for extra support and comfort in their shots, whether aiming for more distance, better control, or simply an improved feel. The new variants complete the series and ease entry into the ZXi iron world, combining a notably soft feel with high forgiveness.

Srixon: New Material, New Feel

At the core of the development lies a new material: i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than the usual 431 stainless steel, which results in less vibration and a softer impact feel. Coupled with refined face technology called the MainFrame pattern, it provides a smoother strike along with higher ball speeds. The updated face design positions the sweet spot exactly where most players need it.

Design and Playability Enhancements

The irons retain their classic look with a cavity-back design and slim topline, featuring wider soles, longer faces, and more offset for greater confidence at address. The HL variant is tailored for players with slower swing speeds, focusing on higher launch angles for improved ball flight assistance.

Custom Fitting and Options

The ZXi family now includes seven models, offering tools for nearly every swing profile. As with previous models, the ZXiR irons provide variability with shaft options from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and various combinations to optimize the setup. The new irons are available for preorder via fittings starting December 4, 2025, with an official launch on February 6, 2026. The price for a set of six irons is 1,049 euros, offered in both steel and graphite shafts.
