Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
Fujikura launches the VENTUS TR Blue, a new model building on a proven foundation. This version retains the trusted mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor, enhanced by an internal update: VeloCore+ technology, which promises greater stability and consistency.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the company’s proprietary enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology that analyzes shaft movement in detail. The data collected directly informed the design of the new model, optimized for energy transfer and control according to Fujikura.
Familiar Feel, New Details
The VENTUS TR Blue is designed for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. Its new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—aims to provide enhanced shaft stability under high loads, maintaining a balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black in the lineup, internal tests led by product manager TJ Spidle showed increased clubhead speed for most testers, filling a portfolio gap and catering to those looking for a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Multiple Options for Different Player Types
The shaft will be available in several weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will hit authorized retailers and selected custom-fit programs starting January 9, 2026.
