Fujikura VENTUS TR Blue: Next Generation Shaft with VeloCore+ Technology

Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.

With the VENTUS TR Blue, Fujikura launches a new model building on a familiar foundation. The new version retains the proven mid-launch/low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but adds an internal update: VeloCore+ technology, which Fujikura claims brings more stability and consistency to the game.

Fujikura: In-House Technology

Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed using the enso® system, a 3D motion capture technology from the company that allows detailed analysis of shaft movements. The data gathered directly informed the construction of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.

Familiar Feel, New Details

The VENTUS TR Blue is designed especially for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—aims to provide greater shaft stability under high stress. The balance between feel and control remains, according to Fujikura. The company positions the new TR Blue between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black. According to product manager TJ Spidle, internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for the majority of test players. The new model fills a gap in the portfolio designed for those wanting a stable but not overly stiff shaft profile.

Many Options for Different Player Types

The shaft is available in multiple weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options from Regular to Extra-Stiff. Starting January 9, 2026, the VENTUS TR Blue will be available in specialty retailers through authorized dealers and selected custom-fit programs.
