Fujikura kicks off 2026 with the new VENTUS TR Blue shaft featuring fresh VeloCore+ technology.
Building on a trusted foundation, Fujikura introduces the VENTUS TR Blue shaft, retaining the proven mid-launch, low-spin characteristics of its predecessor but featuring an internal upgrade: the new VeloCore+ technology aims to bring greater stability and consistency to your game.
Fujikura: In-House Technology
Like the previous VENTUS TR, the new version was developed with the enso® system, a proprietary 3D motion-capture technology that allows detailed analysis of shaft movement. This data was directly incorporated into the design of the new model, which Fujikura says is optimized for energy transfer and control.
Familiar Feel, New Details
According to the manufacturer, the VENTUS TR Blue is ideal for players seeking a consistent ball flight with an active swing style. The new material combination—VeloCore+ and Spread Tow Carbon—is designed to provide increased stability under high stress along the shaft while maintaining the balance between feel and control. Positioned between the VENTUS Blue and VENTUS Black, product manager TJ Spidle reports that internal tests showed increased clubhead speed for most test players. The new model fills a gap in the portfolio, aimed at those seeking a stable yet not overly stiff shaft profile.
Options for Various Player Types
The shaft is available in multiple weight classes from 50 to 90 grams, with flex options ranging from Regular to Extra-Stiff. The VENTUS TR Blue will be available in authorized retailers and selected custom-fit programs starting January 9, 2026.
