Callaway has launched its new Chrome Tour Family golf balls, including Chrome Tour, Chrome Tour X, and Chrome Soft models.
On Tuesday, Callaway unveiled the new generation of its premium golf balls with the official introduction of the Chrome Tour Family 2026. The models Chrome Tour, Chrome Tour X, and Chrome Soft expand the manufacturer’s portfolio, targeting ambitious golfers who value tour performance, consistent ball flights, and precise feel. The pre-sale begins on January 6 at 3 p.m., with the balls available worldwide from January 30, 2026.
Focus on Speed and Consistency
At the heart of the new Chrome Tour Family is Callaway’s highlighted Speed Technology. Central to this development is the new Tour Fast Mantle, which, through an optimized core and layer system, delivers increased ball speed and additional distance. The goal is to provide a consistent performance level across all clubs. This concept is supported by the Advanced Seamless Tour Aero®, which, according to Callaway, enables a high, stable ball flight as well as exceptional flight and distance consistency on every shot.

The Chrome Soft completes the new family as a 3-piece golf ball, maintaining its reputation for pairing outstanding tour performance with a particularly soft feel. Callaway also employs a urethane cover here, designed for high spin rates in the short game and precise control on approach shots. The Chrome Soft is aimed at players who prefer a soft feel without compromising on performance.
Price and Market Launch
Callaway positions the new Chrome Family in the premium segment price-wise. In Germany, the balls will be sold for €65 per dozen.
