The 2025 season is coming to a close. We look back at the greatest highlight shots and unforgettable moments of the year – the annual review.
As the 2025 season ends, it's time to look back. With the European team's Ryder Cup victory, Rory McIlroy's Grand Slam, and many other highlights, there's much to remember this year. Often, the incredible shots leading to these successes are overlooked, though they are as spectacular as the victories themselves. This year, legendary shots were made that fans and players alike will remember for a long time.
Rory McIlroy's 15th Hole at the Masters
Perhaps the most legendary shot of the year came at the 15th hole of the Masters. After 14 holes, Rory McIlroy was tied with Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg. His drive went slightly left, leaving a tree between him and the green for his second shot on the par-5 hole. While most players might have played it safe to improve position and secure par, McIlroy took a full-risk shot with a massive draw toward the green, landing the ball just next to the flag. This shot not only demonstrated McIlroy's skill but also his incredible determination to finally win the Masters and complete the Career Grand Slam this year.

Patrick Reed Makes Golf History with Albatross at the US Open
Oakmont is considered one of the most challenging golf courses in the world, and the US Open is a tournament where a round under par can be a winning factor. Even more incredible was Patrick Reed's performance on the fourth hole at this year's US Open. On the 568-meter par-5, Reed took a fairway wood for his second shot and aced the ball from 261 meters, making only the fourth albatross in US Open history and the first ever at Oakmont.
