Wyndham Clark’s Summer of Rage
Wyndham Clark had a rough stretch in May and June. At the PGA Championship, after a poor tee shot on the 16th hole, he turned and hurled his driver into a sponsor board. The incident went viral and led to a public apology on X (formerly Twitter).

But the apology didn’t change much. At the US Open weeks later, Clark missed the cut and reportedly kicked in several lockers in the Oakmont Country Club locker room. That was his last major outburst of the year.
