The 2025 season comes to an end. We look back at the year’s greatest highlight shots and remember the unique moments of 2025 – the year in review.
As the 2025 season wraps up, it’s time to reflect. From the European Team’s Ryder Cup victory to Rory McIlroy’s Grand Slam and many other highlights, this year offered plenty of memorable moments. Often, the individual shots leading to these successes go unnoticed, yet they are just as spectacular as the victories themselves. Once again, 2025 saw legendary shots that players and fans will remember for years to come.
Rory McIlroy’s Shot on No. 15 at the Masters
Perhaps the most legendary shot of the year came at the Masters on hole 15. After 14 holes, Rory McIlroy was tied with Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg. His tee shot veered slightly left, leaving a tree between him and the green for his second shot on the Par 5. While most players would have played it safer to secure par, McIlroy took a full-risk shot, drawing the ball magnificently toward the green and landing it just by the flag. This shot not only showcased McIlroy’s skill but also his incredible determination to finally win the Masters and complete his Career Grand Slam in 2025.
