The 2025 season is coming to an end. We look back at the greatest highlight shots of the year and remember the unique moments of 2025 – The Year in Review.

As the 2025 season concludes, it is time to reflect. With the European team’s Ryder Cup victory, Rory McIlroy’s Grand Slam achievements, and many other highlights, there is much to remember from this year. Often, fans and players alike do not think about the individual shots that led to these successes, even though these shots can be as spectacular as the achievements themselves. This year again saw legendary shots that will be remembered for a long time.

Rory McIlroy’s Shot on 15 at the Masters

Perhaps the most legendary shot of the year came at the 15th hole of the Masters. Rory McIlroy was tied with Justin Rose and Ludvig Aberg after 14 holes. His tee shot veered slightly left, leaving a tree between him and the green for his second shot on the par-5 hole. While most players would have opted for a safer shot to improve position and secure a par, McIlroy took a significant risk, hitting a massive draw toward the green and landing the ball just beside the pin. This shot not only showcased McIlroy’s skill but also his incredible determination to finally win the Masters and complete his career Grand Slam this year.

Patrick Reed Makes Golf History with Albatross at the US Open

Oakmont is known as one of the most difficult golf courses in the world, and the US Open is a tournament where even a round under par gives you a chance to win. Patrick Reed’s performance on the fourth hole at this year’s US Open was truly remarkable. On the 568-meter par-5, he hit his second shot with a fairway wood from 261 meters directly into the hole for an albatross. It was only the fourth time in US Open history this feat was achieved and the first ever at Oakmont.
