Futuristic hole design, Tiger Woods’ signature shot and high-tech golf in the arena: TGL kicks off its second season in style.
As the regular golf season winds down, the Tomorrow Golf League (TGL) is gearing up for its second season. Founded in 2022 by golf legends Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, the league will finally debut after a delay in January 2025. On X.com, TGL recently revealed a breathtaking new hole design for the upcoming tournament, which begins on December 28, 2025, and runs through March 2026. The hole looks like something out of a fantasy video game, blending reality with fiction in spectacular fashion.
Tiger Woods’ Stinger Takes Center Stage
The featured hole is built around Tiger Woods’ iconic shot—the \”Stinger.\” Known for its low, penetrating trajectory, the Stinger is ideal for windy or tight conditions, allowing the ball to roll out significantly after landing. This specific hole challenges players to execute a Stinger due to a natural rock formation that limits the ball’s flight height to approximately 15 meters. Successfully pulling off the shot can result in a rollout of up to 260 yards toward the first landing zone, which features up to two doglegs. Alternatively, players may opt for a safer, mid-height shot to the right of the rock, though this makes achieving par on the designated Par 4 much more difficult.
