Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash Featuring Jon Bon Jovi and EY

Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and it will be celebrated in grand style by his foundation on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with around 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is hosted by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course and also look toward the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports personalities.

The Theme

The evening will center around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” in remembrance of the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is inspired by the meals Tiger had at the Champions Dinner after his five Masters wins. This may include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters victory, when Woods famously served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the night, which even has a dedicated sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the evening.

The Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
