Tiger Woods Celebrates 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, a top music act, and an official title sponsor.Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and it is being celebrated in grand style. His foundation is hosting a big party on January 14th with an exclusive guest list, a star act, and even a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golfing legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it has to be celebrated in a big way. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with about 300 guests. The party will take place at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course and to look toward the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, as well as other notable sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will be dedicated entirely to the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final outfit worn by the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is inspired by the meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins. This may include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired menu of his first Masters victory, when Woods famously served cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the evening, which even has its own sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the event.

The Cause

The event is not only a celebration of Tiger Woods’ 50 years but also marks the 30-year anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million at the event to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
