Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January features a star-studded guestlist, live music, and a title sponsor.
Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and his milestone birthday will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand party on January 14th with an exclusive guest list, a star musical act, and even a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.
The Occasion
A golf legend’s 50th birthday calls for a big celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will gather for the event at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to celebrate his achievements on and off the course while looking toward the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas, Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other prominent sports figures.
The Theme
The evening will center around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” honoring the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his apparel line. The dinner menu will be inspired by the meals served at the Champions Dinner after Woods’ five Masters victories, possibly including elements from the McDonald’s-themed menu of his first Masters win, such as cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. Jon Bon Jovi will perform, and the event is presented by the title sponsor, accounting firm Ernst & Young.
The Cause
The celebration not only honors Tiger Woods’ 50 years but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million that evening to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
