Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event in Florida

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, live music and a title sponsor. Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and his foundation is hosting a grand celebration on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend turning 50 naturally calls for a large celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will celebrate at a lavish party held at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Hosted by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course and also look ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas, longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other prominent sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will focus entirely on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” a nod to the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The menu is inspired by the meals Tiger had at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, featuring elements like cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes reminiscent of the McDonald’s-inspired menu at his first Masters victory. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap the night, sponsored by the accounting firm Ernst & Young.

Supporting a Good Cause

The event not only celebrates 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
