Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash Set for January Celebration

With a star-studded guest list, top musical act, and title sponsor, Tiger Woods’ birthday party is set for January.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30th, and the milestone will be celebrated in grand style. His foundation is hosting a major party on January 14th featuring an exclusive guest list, a star performance, and a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated with approximately 300 guests. The party will be held at The Breakers luxury resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The event, organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation, aims to honor Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course while looking ahead to the future. Guests include friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other prominent sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will focus entirely on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner that also sparked his own clothing line. The menu will be inspired by meals Tiger enjoyed at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, possibly including items from his first Masters victory meal inspired by McDonald’s, which featured cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap the evening, with the event presented by title sponsor Ernst & Young.

A Charitable Purpose

The event does not only celebrate 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
