Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event in January

Tiger Woods is celebrating his 50th birthday in January with a star-studded party featuring top guests, a music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and his milestone birthday will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a big party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a headline music act, and a title sponsor, according to Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

A golf legend turning 50 calls for a grand celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the birthday bash will host around 300 guests at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation to honor his achievements on and off the golf course, while also looking ahead to the future. Attendees include friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will be a tribute to the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major champion, which also inspired his own clothing line. The dinner menu is inspired by dishes served at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins. This could include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired meal from his first Masters victory, when Woods famously chose cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap off the event, which has Ernst & Young as its title sponsor.

A Charitable Cause

The celebration also honors 30 years of Woods’ foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to support the expansion of TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
