Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Party in Florida

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, and his milestone birthday will be celebrated in style. His foundation is hosting a grand event on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star music act, and a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a grand celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the event will host around 300 guests in a lavish party at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. Organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation, the event aims to celebrate Tiger Woods’ achievements both on and off the golf course, while also looking ahead to the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will be centered around the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” in honor of the iconic final-round outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The night’s menu will be inspired by the dishes served at the Champions Dinner following Woods’ five Masters victories. This may include elements from the McDonald’s-inspired meal served after his first Masters win, featuring cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will cap the evening, which is presented by the title sponsor Ernst & Young.

The Cause

Beyond celebrating 50 years of Tiger Woods’ life, the event also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million to expand the TGR Learning Labs, providing free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
