Tiger Woods to Celebrate 50th Birthday with Star-Studded Event

Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday celebration in January features a star guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30 and plans a grand celebration. His foundation is hosting a major party on January 14 with an exclusive guest list, a star act, and a title sponsor, reports Front Office Sports.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a big celebration. Under the motto “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” around 300 guests will celebrate the milestone at the luxury The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is organized by Woods’ TGR Foundation to honor his accomplishments on and off the course and to look ahead. Guests include friends like Justin Thomas, longtime caddie Joe LaCava, and other sports luminaries.

The Theme

The evening will focus on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling Woods’ iconic final-round outfit that inspired his own clothing line. The menu is inspired by the Champions Dinner menus after his five Masters wins, including possible nods to the McDonald’s-inspired meal from Woods’ first Masters victory featuring cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. Jon Bon Jovi will perform, and the event even has a title sponsor: professional services firm Ernst & Young.

A Charitable Cause

The celebration not only marks 50 years in Woods’ life but also the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise $50 million to expand TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
