Tiger Woods’ 50th birthday celebration in January features a star-studded guest list, a top music act, and a title sponsor.
Tiger Woods turned 50 on December 30, a milestone marked by a grand celebration hosted by his foundation on January 14. The exclusive event, reported by Front Office Sports, brings together around 300 guests including friends like Justin Thomas and longtime caddie Joe LaCava at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida.
Celebrating a Golf Legend’s Milestone
Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the party aims to honor Tiger Woods’ remarkable achievements both on and off the golf course, while looking ahead to the future. The evening’s dress code is “a touch of red,” inspired by Woods’ iconic final-round outfit and his own apparel line. The menu draws from those served at the Champions Dinner following his five Masters wins, potentially featuring elements from the McDonald’s-inspired meal he enjoyed at his first Masters victory, such as cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. Jon Bon Jovi will also perform, with Ernst & Young as the evening’s presenting sponsor.
Supporting a Charitable Cause
Beyond celebrating Woods’ 50 years, the event commemorates the 30th anniversary of his TGR Foundation. The foundation aims to raise $50 million during the evening to expand the TGR Learning Labs, which provide free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
