Tiger Woods’ 50th Birthday Bash with Star Guests and Charity Focus

Tiger Woods’ birthday party in January features a star-studded guest list, top music act, and a title sponsor.

The Occasion

When a golf legend like Tiger Woods turns 50, it calls for a grand celebration. Under the theme “RED: Celebrating Legacy,” the milestone birthday will be celebrated lavishly with around 300 guests. The party will take place at the luxury resort The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida. The event is hosted by Woods’ foundation, the TGR Foundation, aiming to celebrate Tiger Woods’ achievements on and off the golf course, while also looking toward the future. The guest list includes friends like Justin Thomas and Woods’ longtime caddie Joe LaCava, along with other prominent sports figures.

The Theme

The evening will be entirely focused on the birthday honoree. The dress code is “a touch of red,” recalling the iconic final outfit of the 15-time major winner, which also inspired his own clothing line. The evening’s menu is further inspired by the menus Tiger Woods was served at the Champions Dinner after his five Masters wins. This may include elements of the McDonald’s-inspired menu from his first Masters victory, such as cheeseburgers, fries, and milkshakes. A performance by Jon Bon Jovi will round off the evening, which also has its own sponsor: the accounting firm Ernst & Young presents the event.

The Good Cause

The event is not only to celebrate 50 years in the life of Tiger Woods but also marks the 30th anniversary of his foundation. The TGR Foundation aims to raise 50 million dollars during the evening to support the expansion of the TGR Learning Labs, which offer free STEAM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), career-related programs, and wellness activities for middle and high school students.
