TGL kicks off the new season with a rematch between Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club at the SoFi Center.

The start of season two in TGL brings back a duel that defined the end of the previous season. On December 28th, Atlanta Drive GC and New York Golf Club, the teams that contested the final of the first season, face off again. Atlanta won both final matches by a one-point margin and enters the new season as the reigning champion. Before the first tee, the championship banner will be raised under the arena roof, followed by a match in the familiar format featuring triples and singles segments. Both teams start with three Hammers, with Atlanta teeing off first. The line-ups feature familiar names: Cameron Young, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Xander Schauffele for New York; Patrick Cantlay, Lucas Glover, and Billy Horschel for Atlanta.

Atlanta Drive GC Brings Proven Patterns

Atlanta Drive GC begins the new TGL season with clear metrics from the previous season. The team was particularly efficient in singles, earning the most points in the league through the Hammer. Billy Horschel led the league in won singles points, Patrick Cantlay remained undefeated in direct singles duels against New York while Lucas Glover stood out with a flawless fairway accuracy rate. New York Golf Club bounced back after a 0-2 start to secure a playoff spot. Cameron Young scored the most points of all players and made an impact with his tee shot distance.

More Room for Strategy Through Technical Adjustments

With the start of the new season, TGL also changes the playing field. The GreenZone has been significantly expanded, offering more pin positions and more variable putting lines. Beneath the turf, additional actuators enable adjustable contours, enhancing tactical options. The hole catalog has also been updated. New holes like Stone & Steeple, Stinger, and Cenote are introduced for the first time. The course is complemented by team-specific holes such as Fore-0-Fore for Atlanta and Big Apple for New York. A total of 15 specially designed holes will be played.
