TaylorMade presents the new Qi4D fairway woods featuring customization options and proven technologies for improved compatibility and stability.
TaylorMade Qi4D: Proven Design, Enhanced Development
The TaylorMade Qi4D series relies on an advanced multi-material construction that combines different materials depending on the model. This material diversity allows finely tuned centers of gravity, contributing to a high level of playability and versatility. Subtle design refinements and modern detail adjustments complement the innovations. The main focus is on the individual customization of the clubs to suit each player and their needs.
Qi4D Fairway Woods: Control, Versatility, and Customization
The Qi4D fairway woods feature refined contact points that enable a more consistent ball speed across the entire clubface. An optimized center of gravity provides a balanced combination of distance, control, and versatility compared to the previous model.
Technologies like the improved ‘Cut-Trough Speed Pocket’ stabilize ball speed even on lower-face strikes and reduce spin. Additionally, the ‘Twist Face’ curvature ensures controlled ball flight on off-center hits.
All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing individual adjustments of loft, lie angle, and face angle. Integrated Trajectory Adjustment System (TAS) weights enable precise fine-tuning of spin and shot shape. The retail price is 399 €.
Tour and Max Variants for Different Needs
The Qi4D Tour fairway woods target players with specific flight preferences. A 65 g tungsten weight is positioned low and directly behind the titanium face, supporting a high launch with reduced spin. Titanium in the sole and face along with a carbon crown adds discretionary weight. Three TAS weights allow precise control of ball flight ranging from stable neutral setups to draw or fade tendencies.
The Qi4D Max and Qi4D Max Lite fairway woods emphasize forgiveness. A larger clubhead and a shallower face profile increase stability. The weight is shifted more to the perimeter and back of the head, supported by 8 g and 4 g TAS weights respectively. The Lite version is designed for golfers wanting to maximize their clubhead speed and distance and features lightweight components. These models are also priced at 399 €.
Qi4D Hybrids: Versatile Long-Iron Replacement
