TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D driver series with four models focused on maximum speed and customization for different swing types.
TaylorMade launches the Qi4D drivers designed for maximum speed, featuring high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. The four distinct models cater to various player and swing profiles.
New Face Technology and Aerodynamic Design
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date, featuring newly developed carbon faces that provide more efficient ball speed than titanium while being more durable. Improved roll radii on the face reduce spin rate variability regardless of strike location.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™ developed through finite element analysis (FEA) enhances face flexibility in the lower area, expanding the high-performance zone and stabilizing ball speed in typical strike zones. A corrective face curvature and optimized head aerodynamics, including refined shapes and smooth transitions, promote clean airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models include a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially designed REAX shafts tailored for three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) are available in various flex and weight categories to fine-tune to different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D: The base model uses a four-weight TAS system (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Weight positioning influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw/fade tendencies. Heavier weights in front promote higher ball speeds; rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and low spin, featuring aerodynamically optimized head shape for smooth airflow and clean rear detachment. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory tuning.
Qi4D Max: Prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum construction reduces weight and adds adjustability. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts for speed or stability.
Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technology but with a focus on lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aimed at golfers seeking to increase clubhead speed deliberately.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available in stores from January 29.
