TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D driver series featuring four models focused on maximum speed and customization.
TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D drivers, engineered for top speed, with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustment options. The four distinct models cater to different playing and swing styles.
New Clubfaces and Aerodynamic Enhancements
The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable to date, featuring newly developed carbon clubfaces that outperform titanium in ball speed, durability, and longevity. Improved roll radii on the face reduce spin rate deviations whether the ball is struck high or low on the face.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed via finite element analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area, expanding the high-performance zone for consistent ball speed in typical strike areas. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature and maximized head aerodynamics with refined shapes, smooth transitions, and integrated structures to streamline airflow throughout the swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Customization with Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is extensive personalization. All models have a 4° loft sleeve that allows adjustments to loft, lie, and face angle.
Specially developed REAX shafts are also included, designed for three swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flexes and weights to match different player types, enhancing the standard shafts’ performance.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Unique Focuses
Qi4D
The base model uses a quad weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2, 4 g x 2). Weight positioning affects ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw/fade bias. Front weights boost speed, while rear placement increases stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS is optimized for maximum speed and low spin. Aerodynamically refined through numerical flow simulations, its head shape ensures smooth airflow and clean separation at the rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise spin and trajectory tuning.
Qi4D Max
Focusing on forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Qi4D Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers extra adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) enable flexible center of gravity shifts between higher ball speed or enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Qi4D Max Lite builds on the Max technologies but with a focus on lightweight design. Its head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aimed at players seeking to increase club head speed strategically.
The Qi4D drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at 699€ and will be in specialty stores from January 29.
