TaylorMade launches the new Qi4D Driver series focusing on speed and compatibility across four versatile models.
TaylorMade introduces the Qi4D Drivers designed for maximum speed, featuring high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four different models cater to various playing and swing styles.
New Face Designs and Aerodynamic Refinements
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that generate higher ball speeds compared to titanium, while also being more durable and robust. Improved roll radii on the face reduce variations in spin rate regardless of whether the ball strikes higher or lower on the face.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower region, expanding the high-performance area that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Additionally, the clubheads’ aerodynamics have been optimized with finely tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreet integrated structures that support clean airflow throughout the entire swing.
TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Personalized Fitting with Shafts and Adjustment Systems
A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high level of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve, allowing adjustment of loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Specially designed REAX shafts are used, tailored for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes. This enables precise matching of standard shafts to different player types.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses
Qi4D
The base model utilizes a quadruple-weight system with movable TAS weights (9 g x 2 / 4 g x 2). Placement of weights influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights positioned forward increase ball speed, while rear placement improves stability.
Qi4D LS
The Qi4D LS is designed for maximum speed and very low spin. The clubhead shape was aerodynamically optimized using computational fluid dynamics to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the club’s rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) allow precise adjustment of spin and ball flight.
Qi4D Max
Focusing on forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the Qi4D Max uses aluminum to reduce weight and offers additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) permit flexible center of gravity shifts between greater ball speed or enhanced stability.
Qi4D Max Lite
The Qi4D Max Lite incorporates the Max model’s technologies but features a consistently lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, targeting golfers looking to increase their clubhead speed specifically.
The Qi4D Drivers are available for pre-order starting January 8, 2026, at a price of €699, and will be available in specialist retailers from January 29,
