TaylorMade presents the new Qi4D Driver series featuring four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility. The new driver offers detailed advancements for increased speed.
TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Designed for maximum velocity, the new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive adjustability. Four distinct models cover various playing and swing types.
New Faces and Aerodynamic Refinements in Qi4D Drivers
The Qi4D Drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces which generate more efficient ball speed than titanium while being more durable. Enhanced roll radii on the face reduce spin rate deviations regardless of higher or lower strike locations.
An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases flexibility in the lower face area, expanding the high-performance zone to stabilize ball speed in typical impact zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature. Aerodynamics of the heads have also been optimized with fine-tuned shapes, smooth transitions, and discreetly integrated structures ensuring clean airflow throughout the swing.
Individual Customization with Shafts and Adjustability
A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high degree of customization. All models come with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.
Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts cater to three swing profiles (Hold, Balance, Active) available in various flex and weight classes, enabling tailored settings to meet different player needs.
Model Overview: Four Drivers with Unique Focuses
Qi4D: The base model uses a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (two 9 g and two 4 g). Their placement influences ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw/fade tendencies. Heavier weights forward promote higher speeds; rear placement enhances stability.
Qi4D LS: Designed for maximum speed and very low spin, its aerodynamically optimized head shape ensures smooth airflow and clean separation at the rear. Two TAS weights (15 g and 4 g) enable precise spin and trajectory adjustments.
Qi4D Max: Focused on forgiveness without sacrificing speed, the use of aluminum reduces weight and adds more adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13 g and 4 g) allow flexible center of gravity shifts between speed and stability.
Qi4D Max Lite: Incorporates Max model technology but with an ultra-lightweight build. With the lightest head, shaft, and grip in the series, it targets golfers aiming to increase clubhead speed.
Qi4D Drivers will be available for pre-order from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and in stores from January 29.
