TaylorMade Qi4D Driver: Four Models for Speed and Versatility

TaylorMade introduces the new Qi4D drivers with four models focused on maximum speed and compatibility.

TaylorMade brings fresh momentum and speed with the Qi4D drivers. Engineered for maximum velocity, these new models impress with high aerodynamic efficiency and extensive customization options. Four different models cover various playing and swing types.

New Face Designs and Aerodynamic Refinements

The Qi4D drivers are TaylorMade’s fastest and most adaptable drivers to date. They feature newly developed carbon faces that, compared to titanium, generate more efficient ball speed while being more robust and durable. Improved roll radii on the face help reduce spin rate deviations regardless of whether the ball strikes high or low on the face.

An advanced Cut-Through Speed Pocket™, designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), increases face flexibility in the lower region, expanding the high-performance area that stabilizes ball speed in typical impact zones. This is complemented by a corrective face curvature and optimized aerodynamics with finely tuned head shapes, smooth transitions, and subtle integrated structures that support clean airflow throughout the swing.

TaylorMade Qi4D Drivers: Personalized Adjustments with Shafts and Settings

A key feature of the Qi4D series is its high degree of customization. All models come equipped with a 4° loft sleeve allowing adjustments to loft, lie angle, and face angle.

Additionally, specially developed REAX shafts are used, designed for three different swing characteristics (Hold, Balance, and Active) and available in various flex and weight classes. This enables standard shafts to be precisely matched to different player types.

Model Overview: Four Drivers with Distinct Focuses

Qi4D

The base model utilizes a four-weight system with movable TAS weights (9g x 2 / 4g x 2). Placement affects ball speed, stability, forgiveness, and draw or fade tendencies. Heavier weights in the front promote higher ball speeds, while a rear position adds stability.

Qi4D LS

The Qi4D LS focuses on maximum speed and very low spin. Using numerical flow simulations, the head shape was aerodynamically optimized to ensure smooth airflow and clean separation at the clubhead’s rear. Two TAS weights (15g and 4g) allow precise spin and trajectory adjustments.

Qi4D Max

The Qi4D Max prioritizes forgiveness without sacrificing speed. Aluminum reduces weight and provides additional adjustment options. Two movable TAS weights (13g and 4g) enable flexible center-of-gravity shifts between more ball speed or increased stability.

Qi4D Max Lite

The Qi4D Max Lite inherits the Max model’s technologies but features a consistently lightweight design. The head, shaft, and grip are the lightest in the series, aimed at golfers looking to increase clubhead speed deliberately.

The Qi4D drivers can be pre-ordered from January 8, 2026, at a price of €699 and will be available in stores from January 29, 2026.
