Srixon expands its iron lineup for golfers seeking more support and forgiveness in their long game.
With the release of the new ZXiR and ZXiR HL irons, Srixon raises the bar in the game-improvement iron segment. These models are designed for players who want more distance, better control, or simply a softer feel at impact. The new additions aim to complete the ZXi family while offering a smooth entry point into the series, combining a soft feel with high forgiveness—all without compromising on design.
New Materials and Feel in the Srixon ZXiR Irons
At the heart of the new irons is a material innovation: i-ALLOY. According to Srixon, it is about ten percent softer than standard 431 steel, reducing vibrations and enhancing feel. This is paired with an updated face technology called the MainFrame pattern, which is engineered to deliver a smoother impact and increased ball speed. The sweet spot has also been repositioned to align with where most players make contact, improving consistency.
Visually, the irons maintain the classic ZXi look with a cavity-back design and slim topline. However, they feature wider soles, longer faces, and more offset to inspire confidence at address. The HL version is tailored for players with slower swing speeds, offering higher launch angles and more help getting the ball airborne.
Fitting Options and Availability
The ZXi family now includes seven models, ensuring that nearly every swing profile is covered. As with previous Srixon irons, the ZXiR series emphasizes customization. Options include shafts from KBS, grips from Golf Pride, and various fitting combinations to fine-tune performance. The new irons will be available for pre-order through fittings starting December 4, 2025, with official release on February 6, 2026. A set of six irons will retail for €1,049 in both steel and graphite versions.
