Gregor Biernath: “Something New and Exciting for Golf is Emerging”
Gregor Biernath, one of the most recognized golf voices in the German-speaking world, is moving from Sky to MagentaTV. He will lead the new expert team, supported by golf experts Florian Zunker, Bernd Ritthammer, and Max Kramer. Biernath commented on his move: “The entire team immediately gave me the feeling that something new and good for golf can be created here. We can innovate and refresh golf on MagentaTV.” He also described the new team as a “cool editorial team” and spoke of a “really good mix.”
New faces have also been brought in as commentators. Michael Born, who has previously commented on handball and football for DAZN, will join Herbert Gogel and Stephan Gandel in covering golf events. Additionally, Holger Speckhahn, known primarily as an ice hockey presenter for MagentaSport, will also accompany the upcoming live broadcasts.
