PGA Tour Tee Times: Straka, Schmid and Jäger at The American Express

The tee times for The American Express on the PGA Tour are set. Three DACH players start on three different courses.

At the second tournament of the PGA Tour at The American Express, players will tee off on Thursday across three different golf courses at PGA West in La Quinta, southern California, also known as the ‘Golden State.’ PGA West is a world-renowned golf and lifestyle resort, nicknamed ‘The Western Home of Golf in America,’ featuring multiple clubhouses and nine courses, even though La Quinta has only about 40,000 residents. The tournament will be played over the Pete Dye Stadium Course, the La Quinta Country Club, and the Nicklaus Tournament Course.

Besides last year’s defending champion from Austria, Sepp Straka, two German players will compete in the event. Matti Schmid is playing his second tournament of the season after missing the cut last weekend in Hawaii. Stephan Jäger makes his 2026 season debut in California. MagentaTV will broadcast the tournament live from Thursday to Sunday starting at 17:30 local time.
