German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the PGA Tour kickoff at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced for the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, presents a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scorable but gives no freebies. This combination annually attracts a strong field and early competitive excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are competing. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major storyline is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple Major champion tees off alongside Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group sure to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds star power to an already elite field, intensifying the excitement of the Farmers Insurance Open. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 17:30 CET and on Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 CET.
