As the first tee times are announced for the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes turn once again to Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course seems more scorable but gives no gifts. This blend ensures a high-quality field and early sporting excitement every year.
From a German perspective, the tournament kickoff is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have a chance for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off on the South Course with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa – a group sure to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 17:30, and Saturday and Sunday from 18:00 (German time).
