German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback bring excitement to the PGA Tour kickoff at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times of the Farmers Insurance Open are announced, all eyes are on Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course seems more scorable but gives no breaks either. This combination ensures a high-caliber field and early sporting excitement every year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid and Jeremy Paul are teeing off. For Jäger and Rosenmüller, the North Course offers a chance for an aggressive start, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another major highlight is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group likely to attract early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds extra shine to an already star-studded field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 5:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 p.m. (all times in German local time).
