The challenging South Course with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens is a true test, while the somewhat shorter North Course seems more scorable but offers no gifts either. This combination annually creates a high-class field and early sporting excitement.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is particularly interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul will tee off. Jäger and Rosenmüller have the opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces strong international competition directly on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s Comeback on the PGA Tour
Another big topic is the comeback of Brooks Koepka on the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner will tee off together with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a flight likely to draw early focus from fans and the tournament. Koepka’s return adds extra star power to an already strong field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV on Thursday and Friday from 5:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM (German time).
