German players and Brooks Koepka’s comeback add excitement to the PGA Tour start at Torrey Pines. Check out the tee times here.
As the first tee times are announced at the Farmers Insurance Open, all eyes are on Torrey Pines – one of the most iconic venues on the PGA Tour. The challenging South Course, with its long par-4s, narrow fairways, and notorious greens, is a true test, while the slightly shorter North Course appears more scoreable but still offers no giveaways. This blend creates a top-class field and early competitive excitement each year.
From a German perspective, the tournament start is especially interesting: Stephan Jäger, Thomas Rosenmüller, Matti Schmid, and Jeremy Paul are all set to compete. Jäger and Rosenmüller have an opportunity for an aggressive start on the North Course, while Schmid faces tough international competition on the South Course.
Brooks Koepka’s PGA Tour Comeback
Another major topic is Brooks Koepka’s return to the PGA Tour. The multiple major winner tees off with Ludvig Åberg and Max Homa on the South Course – a group sure to draw early tournament and fan attention. Koepka’s comeback adds extra star power to an already elite field, making the Farmers Insurance Open even more exciting. The tournament will be broadcast on MagentaTV Thursday and Friday from 5:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 pm (all times in German time).
